Meet Irvin Eisenberg – My interest in the body and health started in college, where I studied dance and choreography at Bard College. My interest deepened through training in Barbara Brennan’s Healing Science and my introduction to Reiki.
About Irvin Eisenberg
I began my career as a massage therapist in Montpelier, VT, in 2008. Before that, I spent a brief time in the Stowe, VT, spa scene. My wife and I quickly fell in love with the state capital and its vibrant community.
In 2011, I became a structural integrator. Then, by 2018, I had earned my credentials as an occupational therapist. I chose to stay in Montpelier, deepening my roots in this welcoming Central Vermont community. At the same time, I expanded my role as a healthcare practitioner.
One of the things I love most about working here is the variety of people I get to help. These include statehouse employees, lawyers, doctors, farmers, laborers, and many others. In fact, Central Vermont has a remarkably diverse healthcare landscape for its relatively small population.
Finding my niche in this dynamic environment has been exciting and deeply rewarding. Most importantly, I get to help people in my own town.
I especially appreciate how proactive and creative my Vermont clients are. They tend to be resourceful, independent thinkers with an unconventional approach to health.
Rather than accepting healthcare advice at face value, they ask thoughtful questions and explore their options. This is true whether the advice comes from me or more traditional healthcare practitioners. As a result, they keep me on my toes.
They also challenge me to grow and learn continuously. I learn from both my clients and the wide range of healthcare professionals in the area.
Nestled in a valley surrounded by the Green Mountains, Montpelier has been the perfect setting for my occupational therapy practice. With Hubbard Park right next door, it is also a place that supports movement, connection, and community.
It is a place where I can make a meaningful impact. It is also where I can continue to evolve in my profession. Best of all, I get to do that while being part of a community I truly love.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me about any questions!
